Mid Lavant

BLUE TEAM

Starting about 300m along Centurion Way this great route has arguably the most flat sections. A fast start on the tarmac before heading right and off to the renowned sheep field. Once you've tackled that, drink in the views along the rolling path to the car park.

Parking: Limited spaces at the Centurion Way access point.

The Start!

All that training, all that mental preparation, has all built up to this moment!

Turn Right!

You've set off fast, it's easy underfoot, you're feeling confident - Just don't miss the right turn!

Watch the Sheep

Left out of the field and through the gate. It's still relatively flat, but you know what's ahead...

The Sheep Field

This is your Everest...There's not a lot to say here other than watch out for the false summit! The whole thing's pretty deceptive, actually!

Oh the Views

If you like a view and you can still see through the sweat, then this is a good reward. If there's anything left in the legs, the deceptive incline will quickly see to that! Follow all the way to the car park

THE RACE IS ON!

At the car park, a quick wave to the masses and then straight up for the final assault to the top. Look left at the Rubbing House for the West Dean runner and look right at car park for the East Lavant runner, the race is on!
